Laptop and tablet PC compatible, Advantage Equine was designed with
large icons, drop down data and pick lists, large data entry fields, and
pop up calendars to make selection with a mouse, touch of the finger
or stylus a snap. Any function that may be performed with a mouse
may also be performed on a tablet pc with a touch of the screen or
stylus. Tablet PCs can also convert hand written notes to text.

Lookups
Advantage Equine includes a number of search fields to look
up services, patients and clients. Advantage allows for
Boolean searches and partial string searches such as a street vs.
full address. The staff may also combine data from the provided
fields such as name, breed, and status for more refined searches.

The patient lookup window allows you to search by a single search field or
combination of search fields:
- Patient Stable name
- Patient Registered name
- Registration Number
- ID number (tattoo, brand, microchip)
- Species
- Breed
- Diagnosis
- Status (in foal, open, boarding, layup, etc.)
- Client first and or last name

The Advantage system allows you to enter data in single or multiple search fields, even perform partial searches. This is a valuable feature if you want to lookup all clients within
a certain city or zip code or even a particular street to minimize driving time between calls.
