Advantage Version 25.230 Released
12/15/06: VETECH Software has released version 25.230 today. This version includes many new features that have been requested by users. This update will be delivered to all users via both E-mail and CD-Rom over the next 30 days. Complete release and new feature documentation will be included with all upgrade CD's. Following is a brief summary of some of the new features in version 25.230.
• A new "Close Estimate" option has been added to allow you to save existing estimates in the client transaction window, but disable these estimates from showing up in the held estimate windows.
• Support for Fingerprint scanner as an option to entering passwords. A Fingerprint scanner not only speeds up the process of entering a password, it is also much more secure.
Fingerprint Scanner to replace keyboard password entry
• New Attachments feature has been added to patient medical records allowing you to attach any type of document to the patient record to truly go paperless. Document attachments might include: Signed surgery consent form, release instructions, referral letter from another practice.
• Medical Exam Templates now allow for user defined result picklist as well as a default value. For instance your Eye exam can have pre-defined options such as OK, Clear, and Cloudy. When entering a record you simply pick an item from this list, rather than typing. This is especially useful for touch screen data entry on a tablet computer.
• Exam templates, Lab templates, and Treatment templates will now automatically add items to an invoice for you to save time and reduce missed charges
• X-charge Debit cards are now supported
• New options for appointment scheduler check in reports
• Many new reports and new report options have been added including: Invoice reconciliation, payment reconciliation, Payments by Provider to view both production as well as payments received by doctor, enhanced controlled drug report, and daily summary report
• New Time Clock export function for Paychex payroll service
• Support for Vsurv online client survey tool from Animal Care Training
